Aaron Sloman, President and Chief Executive Officer
Aaron Sloman is the founder, President and CEO of speakTECH. Aaron works closely with the speakTECH leadership team to set strategy and cultivate innovations. Aaron has grown speakTECH to an award-winning technology consulting firm in the industry since its establishment. His vision of offering clients solutions in both technology and user experience services has given clients the leverage to compete in today’s market conditions in the most agile manner.
Prior to the establishment of speakTECH in 2004, for seven years, Aaron served as Senior Technology Specialist and Consultant at Microsoft providing technical leadership to Microsoft teams and eBusiness teams. He is responsible for driving strategy and technology solutions for Microsoft clients. He spent most of his career at Microsoft consulting for Fortune 100 companies, scaling their eCommerce sites and customer portal properties. Aaron also served as a Solutions Architect at Unisys Corporation for nearly 6 years where he delivered Novell, Microsoft, Lotus and Sun solutions to government and corporate clients.
Paula Rippenkroeger, VP, Marketing & Sales
With an entrepreneurial spirit, Paula brings 20 years of high tech experience in the capacity of sales, business development, sales and marketing to speakTECH. Serving as VP of Marketing and Sales, Paula guides our client relations and secures project engagements while directing speakTECH’s marketing and sales efforts.
Throughout her career, Paula enjoys the excitement and challenge of the ever-changing technology industry. She has partnered with clients in industries ranging from Financial Services, Media & Entertainment, and travel to technology services and consumer products. She has helped these clients gain unparalleled insights into effectively bridging their products and technology into a seamless brand experience especially in today’s increasingly complex market conditions.
Tim Mustain, Practice Manager, Development
Tim Mustain serves as a Development Practice Manager at speakTECH. Within this capacity, he oversees the overall technology development of the project and manages client relations. Tim is a highly effective communicator and results-driven technical analyst with more than twelve years of software development and management experience. He leads enterprise architecture teams to create reusable next generation web platforms that are used for a variety of Fortune 500 clients.
Prior joining speakTECH in 2004, Tim was as a Senior consultant inside Microsoft’s strategic .Net team, Tim worked with a number of the largest internet companies in the United States. Projects included: performance tuning for one of the top News websites, development of multiple eCommerce sites for brick and mortar companies and start-ups, Architectural code reviews and scalability tuning.
Dana Berg, Director, Engagement Management
Dana leads a highly skilled team of engagement leads that focus exclusively on the delivery and oversight of high quality projects within speakTECH. Achieved through the practice of a proven iterative approach to project management, our engagement managers help successfully guide software delivery projects by employing best practices for change control, collaborative reviews, and active communications.
Before joining speakTECH, Dana spent over four years leading Amgen’s Enterprise Collaboration Program (Amgen is one of the world’s largest biotechnology company). He was responsible for the strategy, implementation and steady state support of several global solutions designed to improve knowledge worker productivity across the organization. He specifically managed the rollout of applications built on Documentum, eRoom and Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS) to over 20,000 users.
Kevin Orbaker, Practice Manager, Integration
As an Intergration Practice Manager at speakTECH, Kevin Orbaker helps client to create seamless information sharing to enable business optimization and total information transparency through integrated systems and automated application process. Kevin has consulted for a variety of industries, ranging from commercial and residential real estate, entertainment, technology and public institution. These services are strong drivers to reducing costs, improving operational efficiency, and capturing new business opportunities.
Steve Andrews, Practice Manager, Infrastructure
Steve Andrews serves as the Practice Manager at speakTECH with eleven years of technology consulting experience. Steve oversees the development for a variety of client infrastructures and turning around productivity of their technologies with an emphasis in Microsoft solutions. streamlining work and dataflow using emerging technologies, cutting edge tools, and new R&D concepts that will draw upon his experience.
Prior joining speakTECH in 2005, Steve managed many corporate internal servers and data centers for public servers. He is a native from the United Kingdom where he graduated from Bournemouth University with Honors in Retail Marketing and Management.
Patrick Neeman, Principal Consultant, User Experience
Patrick serves as User Experience Practice Manager at speakTECH. He brings a wealth of technology and information architecture experience to clients while providing business-driven, cost-saving information design solutions that are highly effective. In this capacity, Patrick oversees the day-to-day operations of user experience practice, working with clients, creative and technology staff to ensure the delivery of highly impactful design solutions.
Prior joining speakTECH in 2006, Pat was VP of Marketing at BIzQuest. During his consulting career, Pat provided a variety of information solutions for online portals. He developed a lead generation management. This system integrated with several advertising systems to provide ROI analysis and management, and allowed outside clients to manage their leads for sales support and customer services. Pat is a real-world internet expert who can tell the difference between hype and real trends.
